Day Three
Well, I didn’t really finish my last post because I had to go to class and then you know, commuting back, kids, exhaustion. I’m not one to get stressed easily but I am freaking the f*** out and extremely overwhelmed. We have mandatory and non-mandatory classes, meaning you have to be there for the mandatory ones, but the non-mandatory ones you can watch on your own time via the online course system (Blackboard). So in my head, I’m thinking that watching all the non-mandatory sessions that night or the next day will save me time, as I can watch them at 1.5 speed. Sounds good in theory right? Except it’s day three and I haven’t watched ANY of the non-mandatory sessions or taken notes. I know it’s only day three but with every passing day, I’m getting more and more behind and with the vast amount of information being thrown at us, it’s going to be increasingly difficult to get on top of it.
Part of the overwhelming stress has been my car. Monday after getting back to town, my car broke down, in a bad way. In a engine-blown-and-will-cost-nearly-as-much-as-the-car-is-worth-to-replace kind of way. Making this doubly worse is that I still owe around $7500 on this very large paperweight. I’m not really sure what to do with that situation so I’ll circle back to that later.
Class is about to start so I will sign off for now. Hopefully next time I find the time to write, things will be looking up.
